Đurđevića Tara Bridge will be closed from August 10 to October 26
The Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Montenegro announced that crossings over the bridge will be prohibited from August 10 to October 26 due to reconstruction.

Due to reconstruction works, traffic across the Đurđevića Tara Bridge will be completely suspended from August 10 to October 26, and the ban will also apply to pedestrians, the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Montenegro announced.
The closure will last more than two months
The Association announced that due to interventions on the bridge, it will be inaccessible to all types of vehicles during the stated period. The ban applies without exceptions, including to people who would walk through the canyon.
Drivers and other road users are advised to use alternative routes while the works are ongoing. Those passing through that route are expected to plan their routes in advance.
The Đurđevića Tara Bridge is a frequent transit point in regional traffic, so the interruption will affect anyone intending to cross the Tara at that crossing during the period from August 10 to October 26. Passenger and freight vehicles should allow extra time and seek alternatives.
While reconstruction works are underway, local services usually set up traffic signage and direct drivers to detours; road users should follow on-site instructions and be mindful of possible delays until the bridge is reopened.
