Macedonian Orthodox Church names Georgij and Kliment for Moscow visit
Metropolitan Georgij and Bishop Kliment will represent the Macedonian Orthodox Church in Moscow on 20 November; Metropolitan Petar is notably absent.

The Holy Archiepiscopal Synod of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric confirmed a church delegation that will travel to Moscow on 20 November to attend the 80th birthday of Patriarch Kirill.
Delegation and notable absence
Official representatives named by the Synod are Metropolitan Georgij of Debar-Kichevo and Bishop Kliment of Herakleia, who serves as the Synod's secretary. The delegation was appointed by Archbishop g.g. Stefan.
Observers noted the absence of Metropolitan Petar of Prespa-Pelagonia, who is the chair of the Church's Commission for External Affairs. His omission from the roster drew attention inside church circles.
The trip takes place amid continuing disagreements across the Orthodox world, particularly concerning the Ukrainian church issue and strained relations between the Moscow Patriarchate and the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
The Synod's decision sets the Macedonian Church's official representation for the Moscow event; further details about the delegation's programme were not released.
