A multimedia stage production titled "Silno svetnal den" will be presented tonight on Macedonia Square in Skopje as part of events marking 35 years of the country's independence. The show, which assembles more than 120 performers, combines music, theatre and dance to trace the nation’s three-and-a-half-decade history.

The performance is scheduled to begin at 20:00 and is billed as a multimedia spectacle that highlights key historical moments, achievements, challenges and milestones from the last 35 years of independence.

Caravan tour and reach

The "Silno svetnal den" caravan launched in Ohrid on 9 August and has since visited 11 towns across the country, bringing together well-known Macedonian musicians and actors for the tour's sequence of shows.

The broader celebration of 35 years of independence will culminate on 8 September, Independence Day, with an evening concert by world-renowned DJ and house music producer David Guetta at the Toše Proeski National Arena in Skopje. Guetta is scheduled to perform with the production "The Monolith Stadium Show."

The musical programme for the 35-year anniversary was prepared by Avalon Production in cooperation with the Government.
