Mourinho: A Champions League title with Real would be special
Portuguese coach says winning Europe’s top prize with Real Madrid would be special, but he will not speculate while the group stage is unfinished.

3 November 2026 — José Mourinho said he would attach special value to winning the Champions League with Real Madrid, noting that he has already lifted Europe's top club prize with Porto and Inter.
Asked whether he expected to repeat that success with the Spanish club, Mourinho replied: "A Champions League title with Real Madrid? That would be a title won with the greatest club in the world."
He refused to engage in speculation
At the same time, the Portuguese coach deliberately cooled expectations, saying he did not want to discuss hypotheticals. Mourinho emphasised that his focus is on facts rather than forecasts.
He also pointed out a concrete reason for restraint: Real Madrid have not yet progressed beyond the competition's group stage, and until they do, talk of titles remains premature.
The comment came amid ongoing attention on Real's European campaign and follows Mourinho's long record in continental competitions.
