Jamal Musiala collapsed again as Bayern beat Heidenheim 4-2 in friendly
In a pre-season friendly on August 16, 2026, Bayern Munich secured a 4-2 victory over Heidenheim — but attention focused on Jamal Musiala after he fainted on the pitch for a second time within days.
Musiala returned to play but had to leave after four minutes
Musiala had come on as a substitute in the 61st minute but collapsed again only about four minutes later. Club medics assisted him and he was able to leave the field under his own power with support from the team doctor.
The incident follows a similar episode three days earlier, when Musiala also went to the ground during the match against RB Leipzig. The club and medical staff have not released a detailed medical bulletin since the latest fainting.
Match scorers: Bayern’s goals came from Chavez (25'), Ibrahimović (47' pen), Diaz (78') and Braun (83'). Heidenheim replied through Wagner (5') and Nijes (44').
A social-media clip shared by Lüpen Sports captured the moment; the account posted a clip with the caption translated as: “The moments when Jamal Musiala fainted because of the high temperature.” — Lüpen Sports (@Lupen_Sports), August 16, 2026.
