OVLX dismantled after joint MIA–FBI operation; 20-year-old from Tetovo charged
The Ministry of Interior and the FBI say they broke an OVLX marketplace that offered over 1,500 stolen credentials; charges filed against a 20-year-old from Tetovo.

The Ministry of Interior, in a coordinated probe with the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), says it dismantled an illegal online market that sold stolen personal data, access credentials and cybercrime tools.
Authorities say the platform operated under the name OVLX and that the suspected administrator was a 20-year-old identified only as E.A., from the Tetovo area. Investigators told the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Tetovo that they have filed criminal charges against him for computer fraud, misuse of personal data and the production and distribution of child pornography.
Evidence, timelines and scope
According to gathered evidence, between 2023 and 2025 the suspect administered domains and websites connected to the OVLX platform, whose primary users were cybercriminals buying and selling personal data and access credentials for user accounts and victims’ computer networks. During the platform’s operation more than 1,500 stolen access credentials were offered for sale.
"The investigation additionally established that in the period from 2025 to 2026 the suspect administered an illegal online group named 'ONEMILI' on the messaging application 'Telegram'. Through this group, services and software tools for committing computer crime were offered, including scams related to unlawful refunding of funds," the Ministry said in its statement.
Prosecutors and police also say they obtained evidence that the suspect used Telegram to obtain and possess material showing sexual abuse of children.
The Ministry described the operation as its first coordinated cyber operation with the FBI and said the case underlines the importance of international police cooperation in detecting and curbing modern forms of organized cybercrime.
