MZT Skopje Aerodrom returns to European stage — Iraklis first challenge
After more than 25 years, MZT Skopje hosts Iraklis (7:00 p.m.) in the FIBA EuroCup opener; fan events start at 5:00 p.m.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom returns to European competition after a break of more than 25 years: tonight at 7:00 p.m. the club will host Iraklis at the Jane Sandanski Sports Center in the opening round of the FIBA EuroCup.
This appearance is one of three fronts on which the Macedonian champions have set high ambitions for the season. Iraklis arrive as a mild favourite on paper, but the blue-and-white side are counting on full stands and strong home support to push for a first European victory.
In the group with MZT Skopje are Tartu, Würzburg, AEL Larnaca and Dziki Warsaw.
Pre-game fan events
Before tip-off the club has organised a fan gathering outside the Jane Sandanski Sports Center. From 5:00 p.m. spectators can enjoy music by DJ Alen, food stalls, cold beer and other drinks, while younger supporters can take part in club-coloured face painting activities.
With the atmosphere built around the arena and the season’s ambitions, MZT Skopje will look to use tonight’s match as a springboard for their European campaign. The team and the club’s management have signalled they expect the fans to play a decisive role.
