MZT Skopje host Tartu in Skopje — chance for first EuroCup win

MZT Skopje return to FIBA EuroCup action on 14 October 2026 when they host Estonian side Tartu at the Jane Sandanski Sports Center in Skopje. The match is scheduled to start at 18:30 local time.

Home advantage, early stumble and a chance

The reigning Macedonian champions began their EuroCup campaign with a narrow defeat on their comeback night, losing 59-64 to Iraklis. Tartu also opened the competition with a defeat at home, suffering a convincing loss to Warsaw.

Given Tartu’s lacklustre display in the opening round and a recent domestic setback on their home court, MZT arrive in Skopje optimistic that they can secure their first continental victory of the season.

“We face a tough game. We must be solid and enter with huge energy on defense. If we are at our level throughout the match, I expect a positive result at the end. Of course with support from our loyal fans, whose help means a lot to us!” said Voydan Stojanovski ahead of the game.

Tickets for the fixture are on sale at the price of 200 denars. Ahead of tip-off the club has organised a fan zone outside the arena with a DJ and entertainment designed especially for younger supporters.
