MZT Skopje beat Bora 71-69, Noah Farahan hurt his knee

MZT Skopje edged Kosovo’s Bora 71-69 in a tense friendly match on 12.09.2026, a game that at times resembled an important international fixture in intensity and physicality.

The champions fought hard and eventually secured the narrow victory, but the match was overshadowed by an early injury to Noah Farahan. The American went down with a knee problem shortly after the tip-off and did not return to the court.

The injury and team notes

At first the situation around Farahan appeared potentially serious, yet his behavior later in the game gave the MZT staff hope that the damage might not be severe. Club representatives said that more precise information will follow after detailed medical examinations.

Petar Boshaleski, the Macedonian international, was also absent from the roster for this test match. Despite those personnel gaps, coach Vasko Atanasov’s players managed to find answers in a tight finish.

The quarter scores were 14-14, 15-20, 20-19, 22-16, producing the final 71-69 result.

Lineup: Farahan, Krajinic 8, B. Stojanovski, Andonoski 3, Vasilevski 5, L. Stojanovski 8, Warner 21, Maslinko 7, D. Stojanovski, V. Stojanovski 10, Nikolic 9, Velickovski.

MZT’s next assignment is the "Zoran Petkovski–Petkoto" Memorial Tournament, scheduled for September 16–17 in Bitola.
