MZT Skopje announces Alta Bank as new sponsor before three-front season

MZT Skopje announced a new sponsorship agreement with Alta Bank as the club prepares for a season on three fronts: the domestic championship, the ABA2 League and the FIBA Europe Cup.

The partnership was unveiled at a press conference where club leadership described the deal as a sign of growing institutional backing for MZT’s sporting project.

Club ambitions and goals

Club president Nikola Trajchevski underlined the club’s long-term aims and thanked the new sponsor for its support. "I am pleased that a company which has basketball in its corporate identity at a regional level recognized the ambition of MZT Skopje. Thanks to the people at Alta Bank for the agreed cooperation. We add another serious company ready to follow MZT's ambitions, not only this season but also in the long term.

Of course, the priority ambition remains entry into the ABA1 League by winning ABA2, so that next season we would have EuroLeague teams here in Skopje," Trajchevski said.

Representatives of Alta Bank said the partnership goes beyond commercial interests and reflects the bank’s desire to engage with the community. "I would like to express satisfaction that today we confirm the cooperation with MZT Skopje, a club that has a strong imprint on Macedonian basketball. Alta Bank, as a bank that is developing and building a strong presence in Macedonian society, wants to be an active part of the community in which it operates.

The role of a company does not end only with the services it offers. It is important to support strong initiatives, young people and sport, and organizations that bring people together. In MZT we recognized such a club," said Alta Bank board member Stefan Nikolic.
