MZT Skopje drawn into Group E of the 2026/27 FIBA Europe Cup
MZT Skopje start their 2026/27 FIBA Europe Cup campaign away at Iraklis on 7 October; first home game is 14 October against Tartu.
MZT Skopje Aerodrom learned its opponents and match sequence for the group stage of the 2026/27 FIBA Europe Cup. The Macedonian champions were drawn into Group E alongside Iraklis, Tartu, Wurzburg, AEL Larnaca and Dziki Warsaw.
Key dates and early fixtures
The club will open its European campaign on 7 October with an away trip to Greek side Iraklis in Thessaloniki. The first home game at Skopje comes a week later, on 14 October, when MZT host Estonian club Tartu.
In the third round, scheduled for 20 October, MZT travel to Wurzburg in Germany, while the fourth round is set as an away match at AEL Larnaca in Cyprus. The opening half of the group phase will be completed with a home match against Dziki Warsaw.
The Europe Cup schedule arrives immediately after the start of the club’s domestic and regional commitments, meaning MZT face a congested calendar in the opening months of the season. Managing travel and player rotation will be a priority as the team balances competitions.
Supporters can expect a busy October for the club, with European fixtures interwoven with league and regional games as MZT aim to defend their domestic title while seeking progress on the continental stage.
