Nadica Ademov celebrates son Amel’s 2nd birthday

Nadica Ademov, the Macedonian‑born folk singer, marked a family celebration as her son Amel turned two. The singer posted an emotional message on Instagram for her child and shared a photograph that drew warm reactions across the region.

From market stall to stage and family life

Ademov, 29, who rose to fame after appearing on the talent show Grand Special, often recalls her modest beginnings in Skopje, where she worked long hours selling underwear, socks and T‑shirts at a market to help her family. Today she lives a very different life: married to Damir, a successful businessman of German nationality who gave up his prior ventures to become her personal manager.

Marking Amel’s birthday, Nadica wrote on Instagram: "As long as I live, I shed blood, tears and sweat for you, my handsome one! Happy 2nd birthday, my son!" The post included a photo of the birthday boy and quickly collected affectionate comments from followers.

Although celebrated for her wealth and public image, Ademov maintains strict household rules and high standards of cleanliness. In a recent television appearance she explained her need for order and perfection, noting: "Children always come first and are the priority, but when a shift is over, everything has to be returned to its place."

The couple own several luxury properties in Budva and Belgrade, including an 185‑square‑metre apartment in a prestigious part of the city purchased for 830,000 euros, and Nadica reportedly received a car valued at 125,000 euros as a gift. Despite the comforts, she continues to cook traditional home dishes for her family and expresses gratitude for her journey to the top.

Amel is one of two small children in the household. The birthday celebration underlined how Ademov combines a busy public career with private family life, presenting a portrait of a star who has not forgotten her roots.
