Announcements of Parliament blockades in autumn
DUI announces blockades of laws that, they say, are not aligned with the Ohrid Framework Agreement; parties exchanged accusations about deals and early elections.

DUI announced that this autumn it will block in Parliament any law that, as they say, is not in accordance with the Ohrid Framework Agreement.
The party points out that they began this practice even before MPs went on vacation, when the law on fair representation and the Law on Higher Education were put on the agenda, but both laws remained stuck in parliamentary procedure.
SDSM accused them that this is an internal deal between the Integratives and VMRO-DPMNE intended to bring DUI back to Ilindenska more quickly through early parliamentary elections. From DUI's headquarters in Čair today they briefly said that whoever makes such accusations should prove them.
Exchanges between the parties
The opposition leader Filipche in recent days claimed that the procedures DUI is announcing in the legislative chamber are the result of an agreed scenario with the ruling VMRO-DPMNE, aimed at opening the way for early parliamentary elections and for DUI to again become a government coalition partner of Mickoski, who, as accused by those from Bihachka, does not want European principles and institutions.
VMRO-DPMNE, for its part, alleged that it is precisely DUI and SDSM that are still in good connections and cited the case of the modular hospital, where prosecutor Islam Abazi did not bring charges against Filipche. From the party they said:
"Filipche talks about the EU, the rule of law and European values, while at the same time relies on the system that SDSM and DUI destroyed while they were in power. SDSM and DUI brought the judiciary to a level of trust below 2%, and Islam Abazi, appointed in their time, made a decision that acquitted Filipche."
Meanwhile, these party exchanges have raised the topic of early parliamentary elections. Next week the first session in Parliament is scheduled after MPs' vacation — on the 2nd, with 53 items on the agenda, among them the appointment of a vice governor of the National Bank, ratifications, a draft law on reporting and screening of foreign direct investments in first reading, a proposed national strategy for road traffic safety 2026–2030, as well as laws by shortened procedure, mainly harmonizations with the new Law on Senior Officials.
