At least 14 killed, over 120 injured as Russian drones strike shopping centre in Krivyi Rih
Oleksandr Hanya: 22 of the wounded are children; President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine will respond.

At least 14 people were killed and more than 120 wounded after two Russian drones struck a shopping centre in the city of Krivyi Rih in central Ukraine, local officials said.
Regional governor Oleksandr Hanya said the number of wounded exceeded 120 and that 22 of those injured were children.
Details from officials and the presidential response
Ukrainian authorities said two drones hit the commercial complex; President Volodymyr Zelensky described the attack as "completely cynical and vile," and reported that the second strike came about half an hour after the first with the apparent aim, he said, of targeting emergency personnel.
"Such attacks are nothing other than acts of terrorism. Absolute Russian bestiality. They are monsters, we will certainly respond," wrote Volodymyr Zelensky on X.
Emergency services worked at the site to recover victims and treat the wounded, while hospitals in the area received those injured in the blasts. Local officials continue to account for casualties and assess damage.
Zelensky’s statement signalled a vow of retaliation from Kyiv; authorities say investigations into responsibility and the exact timeline of the strikes are ongoing.
