Fewer consultations in Gostivar — 36 registered yesterday, four hospitalised
Ministry of Health reports 36 consultations in two local facilities yesterday; four patients remain hospitalised.

Health authorities reported a decline in medical consultations linked to the drinking-water incident in Gostivar: 36 consultations were registered yesterday, roughly half the number recorded the previous day.
Current caseload and hospitalisations
The Ministry of Health said the 36 visits were recorded at the town's General Hospital and the Health Centre. Four patients are currently hospitalised in the General Hospital.
Monitoring that began on 14 July shows that the two facilities have carried out a total of 4,483 consultations since that date. Authorities also reported that 1,014 formal notifications of infectious disease have been submitted and 706 new epidemiological questionnaires have been processed, reaching a coverage rate of 70 percent, according to the ministry.
The ministry's figures note a fall in demand for medical assistance, although another line in the reports states that 73 patients presented for examination in Gostivar yesterday.
As the ministry put it: "The epidemiological situation in Gostivar shows significant improvement and a continued decline in the number of patients seeking medical help."
It added that efforts to monitor and contain the situation remain active: "Enhanced epidemiological surveillance continues, collection and processing of data, interviewing patients and coordinated implementation of all necessary measures to protect the population."
