Napoli marks 100th birthday with parade, free Margherita pizza and fireworks

Napoli is marking its 100th birthday today, 01.08.2026, with a series of public events across the city of Naples planned to honour the club’s centenary.
A large fan parade will move through the streets of Naples, while the bells of 100 churches are scheduled to ring at the same time. A formal ceremony featuring club legends is also on the programme.
Centenary gestures: pizza, lights and fireworks
Thousands of free slices of Margherita pizza will be handed out to residents and visitors, and key landmarks in Naples will be illuminated in blue as part of the celebrations.
The evening will conclude with a synchronized fireworks display over the city.
The events bring together supporters, former players and citizens to celebrate a century since the club’s foundation and are planned as a single-day commemorative programme on 01.08.2026.
