Natalija shares home videos of Andrej Gjorgjieski and daughter Jana
Private archive clips show the late singer playing guitar and Jana singing, shared by his wife more than a year after the Kočani fire.
New home videos showing the late DNK singer Andrej Gjorgjieski with his daughter Jana have been shared by his wife, offering intimate reminders of family life before the tragic Kočani fire of March 16 that claimed 63 young lives.
Archive clips and everyday moments
More than a year and a half after the disaster, Natalija Gjorgjievska posted several private clips from the couple's archive. One recording from April 2023 shows Andrej in the living room with a guitar while Jana sings and dances for the camera. Another clip, dated May 2021, captures laughter and play as Andrej relaxes on the sofa with their pet and music playing in the background.
The short home recordings underline how central music and a warm household atmosphere were to their daily life, and how devoted Andrej was to his family.
Speaking previously about the bond between father and daughter, Natalija described their relationship in emotional terms: "Andrej, to me and Jana, above all as a father and as a husband, was our best friend. He kept me and Jana as if in a glass dome. I cannot put into words the bond that Andrej and Jana had... Even I as a mother cannot replace it. They were together around the clock. They talked about many topics and he gave her such a good foundation to recognise what is good and what is bad. I will make sure those memories never fade," she said.
Although the absence left by his death remains immense, these recordings—full of song, smiles and daily detail—are being preserved by the family as lasting testimony to the love that filled their home.
