Negotino resident reports eight months without pay, says he was insulted and threatened when he asked for money
A Negotino resident claims he worked unpaid for eight months and received insults and threats when he demanded his wages.

A resident of Negotino filed a complaint with police saying he was cheated out of 280,000 denars (about €4,550) after working for eight months without receiving the agreed pay.
According to the report, the parties had an oral agreement under which the complainant would be engaged from September 2025 for a specified monthly fee, but he was not paid during the period from January to August 2026, the complaint says.
Alleged insults and threats during a phone call
“According to the report, they agreed orally that the complainant would be employed from September 2025 for a certain monthly fee, but in the period from January to August 2026 he was not paid, and in a telephone call the reported person insulted him and threatened him,” the police said.
The Ministry of Interior said investigators have taken up the case and are carrying out measures to fully clarify the circumstances surrounding the unpaid wages and the threats.
The complainant reports that he worked without pay for eight months and later contacted the person who had engaged him to request the overdue compensation; during that contact he says he was insulted and threatened.
Police did not provide further public details about the identities of the parties or whether criminal charges have yet been filed; the investigation is ongoing.
