Nemanja Radonjić returns to Čukarički
The 30-year-old winger ends a months-long pause and signs with Čukarički for a second spell.

Nemanja Radonjić, long tagged in Serbia as "The 'eternal'" greatest talent of Serbian football, has ended a several-month absence from the game and will rejoin Čukarički, the club announced on 09.10.2026. The 30-year-old winger returns to the Belgrade side for a second spell in his career.
Radonjić arrives after a period without a club and a career that has seen him move between many high-profile teams. He has represented Roma, Red Star Belgrade, Olympique Marseille, Hertha, Benfica, Mallorca and Torino, but rarely stayed longer than a season or two at each stop.
Why his career never fully settled
Throughout his career Radonjić was repeatedly given chances — even a small "million" of opportunities by various coaches and clubs — yet off-field issues and a reputation for poor discipline and unprofessional behaviour prevented him from fulfilling the potential many expected.
Despite those problems, Radonjić still reached close to fifty appearances for Serbia's senior national team, a mark that underlines the level of talent he showed at his best.
Čukarički will be hoping the 30-year-old can bring experience and attacking options as he seeks to rebuild his club career. The move marks another chapter for a player whose talent has often been at odds with his career decisions.
