Nenad Dimitrievski once again stood out for Aris in their final preparatory game before the season, but his performance was not enough to secure a win. This afternoon Aris fell to Bahcesehir by 88:84; Dimitrievski finished in double figures with 13 points.
Aris heads into EuroCup with questions
The Macedonian guard showed the kind of scoring and composure that has earned him an important role in coach Vasilis Spanoulis's rotation, yet Aris were unable to convert that production into victory. Bahcesehir produced the decisive plays down the stretch and took the 88:84 result.
The match was the final friendly ahead of the new season. Aris will open their campaign on 22 September 2026 in the EuroCup against French side Le Mans.
From the exhibition games so far, it is clear that Spanoulis places significant trust in Dimitrievski and expects the Macedonian international to be one of the team's main links on both ends of the court.
Aris now turn their focus to competitive matches, aiming to transform the guard's encouraging individual displays into collective results when the EuroCup regular season begins.
