Nestorovski scores, then goes off injured as Slaven Belupo beat Gorica
Nestorovski scored in the 21st minute to make it 2–0 against Gorica but left the field injured in the 65th minute; it was his second HNL goal of the season.

Ilija Nestorovski marked the match for Slaven Belupo with a goal but was forced off through injury as his side faced Gorica on 22 August 2026.
In the 21st minute Nestorovski converted to make it 2:0, a strike that registered as his second of the 2026/27 Croatian First League (HNL) campaign.
The Macedonian forward looked lively throughout the game and created additional opportunities to extend the lead, but could not add a second goal to his tally.
Early exit with a concern
In the 65th minute the striker had to be substituted after picking up an injury. Team and supporters will be hoping the problem is minor and that he returns to full fitness quickly.
Slaven Belupo held on to their advantage after Nestorovski’s contribution; the club will monitor the extent of his injury once medical checks are completed.
