Nikola Serafimov included in Levski squad for tomorrow’s match vs NEC Nijmegen
The Macedonian centre‑back is fit after an arm injury and travelled with Levski to the Netherlands for the Conference League tie on 15 October 2026.
Good news for Levski Sofia: Nikola Serafimov has fully recovered from his arm injury and is included in the squad for tomorrow's UEFA Conference League match against NEC Nijmegen (15 October 2026).
The Macedonian centre‑back travelled with his teammates to the Netherlands on 14 October 2026 and will be available for selection. The coaching staff will decide whether he starts or takes a place on the bench.
Team decision rests with the coaching staff
Whether Serafimov is named in the starting XI depends on the technical team’s assessment; Darko Tasevski is part of the Levski coaching setup that will make that call.
Serafimov suffered the arm injury more than a month ago during the match with Slavia and as a result was unable to join North Macedonia’s squad for the recent Nations League cycle.
The expectation is that, having recovered, he will be fit for the national team’s November fixtures against Scotland and Slovenia.
Levski face NEC Nijmegen on 15 October 2026 in a Group stage match of the Conference League; Serafimov’s availability gives the Bulgarian side an experienced defensive option for the trip.
