Nikola Serafimov returns to Levski training, 99% likely for trip to NEC Nijmegen

Nikola Serafimov, the North Macedonia international, has recovered from an arm injury and will return to first‑team training with Levski Sofia.

The problem with his arm was described as troublesome; club medical staff and ongoing treatments prevented a surgical procedure that would have sidelined the centre‑back for several months.

Serafimov has been out of action for roughly one month and, as a result, missed only the national team fixtures in the Nations League.

Back in training from Monday

He will rejoin Levski's first team training from Monday (October 12, 2026). The club's medical staff report his recovery as successful and he has resumed individual work ahead of group sessions.

The 99% figure reported by the club means Serafimov is expected to be in contention for the Conference League group stage away match in the Netherlands against NEC Nijmegen.

Levski will make the final squad selection before the trip, but the defender's return is a timely boost ahead of the European fixture.
