10.10.2026 — RB Leipzig produced a dominant display after the international break, routing Eintracht Frankfurt 6-0 as Christopher Nkunku completed a hat-trick.
The loaned striker from Milan, Christopher Nkunku, was the driving force behind Leipzig's victory in the fifth round of the Bundesliga, finishing with three goals in a one-sided win over the visitors from Frankfurt.
Fast start and Nkunku's finishing touch
Leipzig stunned the visitors immediately: Banzuzi opened the scoring in the first minute, converting an early chance and putting the hosts ahead. Nkunku took over soon after — first in the fifth minute, reacting to a cross from Nusa on the left, and then adding two more strikes before half-time. He was on the right spot in the 41st minute and then again three minutes later to make it 4-0.
The second half brought no relief for Eintracht: Nusa also found the net after nine minutes of the second half, extending the lead, and B. Gomis sealed the final 6-0 in the 89th minute.
The result leaves RB Leipzig sitting just one point behind Bayer Leverkusen in fourth place.
