Wembanyama’s historic 52 points and 24 rebounds lift Spurs; Jokić records another triple-double

Victor Wembanyama produced one of the most extraordinary individual performances in recent NBA history on November 5, 2026, lifting the San Antonio Spurs to a 112–111 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

The French 7-footer finished with 52 points and 24 rebounds, along with eight blocks — both his highest single-game totals for points and rebounds — plus two assists and two steals. He shot 16-of-28 from the field (1-of-8 from three) and 19-of-23 from the free-throw line.

No player in NBA history had previously recorded at least 52 points, 24 rebounds and eight blocks in a single game. By one historical measure, the only player with a remotely comparable line was Bob McAdoo, who had at least 50 points, 20 rebounds and five blocks on February 22, 1974.

Nuggets win; Jokic posts another triple-double

In Denver, the Nuggets beat the Toronto Raptors 128–109 behind Nikola Jokić, who notched a triple-double in just three quarters. Jokić finished with 32 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds — the 201st triple-double of his career and his third of the season — and afterward addressed the home crowd with an emotional message.

After previously chastising fans who left early or booed the team, Jokić told supporters: "Thank you for staying. It was a pleasure to play in front of you. I love you." Earlier he had said: "Fans who booed us don't have to come anymore," and later added, "I said what I said. I stand by my words." Denver recorded its fourth win of the young season.
