Novak Djokovic falls to 12th in ATP rankings

On October 19, 2026 the latest ATP rankings placed Novak Djokovic at No. 12 with 3,090 points, a fall of four positions compared with the previous week.

The Serbian star dropped from eighth after his second-round defeat at the Shanghai Masters against Poland's Hubert Hurkacz, a result that cost him valuable ranking points late in the season.

Race to the season finale

Djokovic still has opportunities to climb back up before the season ends. He is scheduled to play tournaments in Basel and the Paris Masters, and one of his clear objectives is to secure a place at the ATP Finals in Turin.

At the top of the standings Jannik Sinner leads the pack, with Alexander Zverev in second and Carlos Alcaraz third.

Other players listed inside the top ten include Ben Shelton, Daniil Medvedev, Flavio Cobolli, Félix Auger-Aliassime, Alex de Minaur, Frances Tiafoe and Arthur Fils.

With only weeks remaining in the season, Djokovic faces a crucial stretch in which he will try to regain lost ground and remain in contention for the year-end tournament.
