Attacks in Zaporizhzhia kill at least 15, including three children
Russian aerial bombs hit residential areas in Zaporizhzhia; Kyiv was struck by rockets the same day.

At least 15 people were killed in Russian strikes on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region on Saturday, Ukrainian authorities said, with three of the dead reported to be children.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that Russian aerial bombs struck residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia, leaving at least 16 people wounded.
On the same day, rockets also hit Kyiv. Mayor Vitali Klitschko said four people were injured in the strikes on the capital.
Humanitarian and diplomatic fallout
The attacks came a day after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a deal to buy Russian diesel — a development Kyiv warned could help finance Russia's war in Ukraine.
Russian forces have stepped up strikes across Ukrainian territory in recent months, contributing to a rise in civilian casualties. Despite U.S.-mediated diplomatic efforts, the Russian invasion — now in its fourth year — has not been brought to an end.
