Kerim Alajbegovic officially joins Juventus

Kerim Alajbegovic has completed his transfer to Juventus, the club confirmed on August 2, 2026. The 18-year-old signed a contract that runs until the summer of 2031, bringing an end to a prolonged transfer saga.

Juventus announced the move through its official channels, posting the club's confirmation on social media. Reports emerging alongside the announcement place the transfer fee at around €35 million and say the agreement was reached with Bayer Leverkusen.

"Juventus announces that it has reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen regarding the transfer of Kerim Alajbegovic," Juventus said. The club also confirmed that Alajbegovic has put pen to paper on a deal running through summer 2031.

What Juventus get

Alajbegovic arrives at Juventus on the back of strong showings for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. His performances for the national side attracted interest from several big European clubs, but Juventus moved decisively to secure the teenager.

The move represents a significant investment in youth for Juventus as they add an international youngster with senior national-team experience. Juventus will now integrate Alajbegovic into their squad as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Official club imagery and a short announcement video accompanied the confirmation, and the player is expected to be presented publicly by Juventus in the coming days.
