Najdžel Buris signs with KK Kozhuv Gevgelija
American forward/center Najdžel Buris, 201 cm, joins Kozhuv after a 10.3 PPG season for Weber State in 2025/26.
KK Kozhuv Gevgelija announced on 18 September 2026 that American forward/center Najdžel Buris has joined the club.
The club published the signing on its social media channels with a message introducing the player: "KK Kozhuv Gevgelija is pleased to present Najdžel Buris as the new signing in the red-and-white family!"
Buris is listed at 201 cm and plays on the wing-center/center positions. He spent four seasons of college basketball in the United States, playing for Idaho, Utah State and Weber State.
In the 2025/26 season for Weber State he appeared in 32 games, averaging 10.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per contest, and reached double-digit scoring on 18 occasions.
What Kozhuv gains
The club framed the acquisition as reinforcement to its frontline rotation ahead of the domestic championship campaign, welcoming Buris to the squad: "Najdžel, welcome to Gevgelija!"
Team branding and the club's slogan closed the announcement: "One club One city KOZHUV GEVGELIJA".
