ONE Macedonia (4iG) advertises wide hiring drive for third mobile operator
ONE Macedonia Telecommunications has posted vacancies across technical and commercial teams as it prepares to build a third mobile network in North Macedonia.

ONE Macedonia Telecommunications, the vehicle through which Hungarian group 4iG is entering the North Macedonian telecom market, has begun advertising a wide range of vacancies as it builds the organisational structure of the country’s third mobile operator.
The job postings — published through recruitment agencies Manpower and The HeadHunter Group — are mostly for positions in Skopje and cover management, network engineering and specialists in areas such as marketing, finance, cyber security and customer service.
Senior roles advertised include a head of marketing communications requiring five to ten years of professional experience, a university degree and advanced English, plus team‑management, communications‑strategy and budget responsibilities. A similar senior profile is sought for the head of customer service, who will be responsible for organising and running that function.
Commercial and technical hires
The operator is also looking for an expert in pricing and market segmentation — a post that will help design the offers the company will take to customers. The advertised duties include analysis of competitors’ prices and services, consumer needs research and participation in tariff package design; the role asks for five to ten years of experience in telecommunications, commercial strategy or market analysis.
On the technical side the company seeks a specialist for the core telecommunications network with one to three years’ experience and knowledge of mobile networks and 5G technology. Other vacancies listed include a cyber security expert, a head of product development, a wholesale telecoms specialist, a business analyst and a procurement expert.
Specific salary figures are not listed in the ONE Macedonia adverts. Data from the local salary platform MojaPlata.mk give context for typical earnings in the sector: according to survey respondents, 80 percent of employees in the telecommunications activity in North Macedonia earn between 23.709 and 70.401 denar net per month. Telecom specialists report an 80 percent range of about 28.100 to 66.900 denar, while managerial roles can be substantially higher; for example, 80 percent of surveyed marketing directors earn between 52.500 and 138.452 denar net monthly. These figures reflect the labour market and do not constitute a salary offer from the new operator.
The company received radio‑frequency licences in January 2026, clearing the way to become the third mobile network operator alongside Macedonian Telecom and A1 Macedonia. ONE Macedonia plans to launch services first in Skopje, using existing operators’ networks while it builds its own infrastructure. An Ericsson contract envisages installation of more than 500 base stations as part of the group’s investment plans in North Macedonia.
It is not yet possible to tell how many people ONE Macedonia has already hired, how many vacancies remain open or the final size of the team it intends to have in place before commercial launch. Some job calls already show expired application deadlines, though their content remains publicly accessible. 4iG previously indicated March 2027 as the planned period to begin commercial 5G services, but no exact start date has been announced.
