Osasuna sacks Luis Miguel Ramis and rehires Jagoba Arrasate
The Pamplona club dismissed Ramis after a 5–2 defeat to Betis; Arrasate signs through 30 June 2029.

Osasuna have dismissed Luis Miguel Ramis and reinstated Jagoba Arrasate as head coach of the first team.
The decision followed a heavy 5–2 defeat to Real Betis; Arrasate has signed a contract with the Pamplona club that runs until 30 June 2029.
League form and immediate context
Osasuna sit 16th in LaLiga after eight matches, with eight points on the board. The team have lost four of their last five fixtures and conceded 17 goals during that run—results the club cited as the reason to change course.
Ramis had taken charge in July this year and was removed from his position after the most recent setback against Betis.
Arrasate returns to a side he previously managed between 2018 and 2024, a period in which he led Osasuna back to the top flight and then kept them in LaLiga for five consecutive seasons.
The club have signalled that they expect the managerial change to halt the slide and stabilise results as the season progresses.
