Osijek extends Admir Ljatifi's contract through 2029

Osijek has rewarded 19-year-old winger Admir Ljatifi with a contract extension that will keep him at the Croatian club until 2029. The move, confirmed on 17 September 2026, reflects the club’s growing trust in a player who joined from Besa Dobri Dol just over a year ago.

Increased minutes and a standout start

Ljatifi has been earning more playing time with the senior squad this season. He was particularly prominent in the match against Rijeka, when he started for the first time and provided an assist that underlined his attacking potential.

Born in 2007, the young forward arrived at Osijek aged 18 and quickly moved into consideration for regular first-team action. The club have now formalized their commitment to his progress with the new multi-year deal.

"I got the chance and I thank the coach. I think I adapted well, and I believe I can be even better on the pitch. It's nice to feel the trust, and the support of the fans means a lot to me. It's a pleasure to play at Opus Arena," Ljatifi said after signing the new contract.

Ljatifi is also a youth international for North Macedonia, and the extension signals that Osijek view him as a long-term option on the wing as they integrate younger players into the senior group.

The 2026–27 season will be an important period for Ljatifi as he seeks to build on his first senior contributions and justify the club’s faith ahead of the next campaign.
