The sequence culminated with a convincing 91:59 win over Austria in Vienna. That result followed a perfect 6–0 performance in the first phase of the EuroBasket 2029 pre-qualifying cycle and an earlier triumph that started the run.
How the streak was built
The series began on 20 August 2025 with an 82:75 victory against Hungary in the final match of the World Cup 2027 pre-qualifiers. After that campaign, the team entered the new pre-qualifying cycle for EuroBasket 2029 and won all six games in its group, finishing the phase with a 6–0 record.
