The Food and Veterinary Agency carried out an extraordinary inspection that resulted in the removal of all unauthorized street stalls at Bit Pazar and the seizure of nearly 500 kilograms of food.
Inspection route and timing
The inspection was conducted early this morning along Krste Petkov Misirkov Boulevard, on the stretch from the Mavrovka shopping centre to Bit Pazar.
Inspectors removed the informal stalls found along the boulevard and confiscated food items with a total weight close to 500 kilograms.
Most of the seized goods consisted of agricultural produce, the report from the operation states.
