Match progress
Panathinaikos were already leading 3-0 by the interval, and in the second half the Greeks simply wrapped up a comprehensive win. Our national team player Rastoder started on the bench but, after being introduced, found the net to make it 0-5 in the 75th minute.
The Kazakh side managed a consolation goal to set the final score at 5-1, but the result was never in doubt once Panathinaikos asserted itself.
This was PAO's second consecutive European victory following the 2-1 win over Borac Banja Luka, a run that strengthens the Greek club's bid for qualification from the group.
Panathinaikos will travel home with a morale-boosting result and a clear message to their Conference League rivals about their intentions this season.
