PAOK signs 20-year-old Ognjen Ugresic from Partizan
The 20-year-old midfielder joins PAOK from Partizan on a contract to 30 June 2031 for a reported €7.5 million.

PAOK has officially completed the signing of one of Serbia’s most highly rated young midfielders, Ognjen Ugresic. The 20-year-old joins the Greek club from Partizan Belgrade on a contract that runs until 30 June 2031, with the transfer fee reported at €7.5 million.
Ugresic, a product of Partizan’s academy, rose through the ranks in Belgrade and earned the captain’s armband at the club before the move. His transfer was brokered by football agent Ostoja Stjepanovic, who secured the deal for the Serbian side.
Playing record and international debut
For Partizan’s first team Ugresic made 63 appearances and scored 13 goals. He also recorded his senior international debut for Serbia in October 2025.
PAOK confirmed the transfer on 29 August 2026 and has tied the youngster to a long-term deal through the summer of 2031. The move represents a significant investment in a player viewed as having high potential in midfield.
From Partizan’s perspective, the sale brings a notable fee for a homegrown talent; for PAOK, it adds a young captain with first-team experience and international exposure.
Supporters and analysts will now watch how quickly Ugresic adapts to Greek football and whether he can translate his development in Belgrade into a regular role in Thessaloniki and further caps for Serbia.
