Parma rout Atalanta in Bergamo — Elif Elmas enters from bench, 3-0

Parma stunned Atalanta in Bergamo on 02.11.2026, beating the hosts 3:0 in a Serie A match from the 10th round. The result left Atalanta unexpectedly exposed at home, while Macedonia international Elif Elmas again started on the bench and entered the game in the 62nd minute for Ederson.

Quick second-half collapse

Parma opened the scoring through Fabian in the 41st minute to go into the break with a 1-0 lead. Barely after the restart, an own goal by Zappacosta doubled the visitors' advantage and appeared to knock the confidence out of the home side.

With Atalanta unable to find a reaction, Lontani sealed the victory in the 58th minute to make it 3-0 and finish off what had been a poor performance by the Bergamo team.

Coach Maurizio Sarri again opted not to start Elif Elmas; the Macedonian midfielder came on in the 62nd minute in place of Ederson but could not change the course of the game. Overall, Elmas fit into a match that largely reflected Atalanta's grey and underwhelming evening.

After this 10th-round loss, Atalanta sit 13th in the Serie A table. The defeat will raise fresh questions about the home side's form as they head into the next fixtures.
