Partizan targets Darko Gjukic as Ohrid faces potential loss

Partizan Belgrade has intensified efforts to sign right wing Darko Gjukic from GRK Ohrid, with the move described as likely by multiple unofficial reports on 25 August 2026. The Serbian club’s Champions League status appears to have strengthened its position in negotiations.

Gjukic arrived at Ohrid after leaving Vardar and was part of the squad that won the EHF European Cup with the club. His performances on the right flank have made him one of the most sought-after players in the regional market.

Club interest and negotiations

“As we have learned from a source close to the club, RK Partizan is prepared to activate the bomb and sign Darko Gjukic. The arrival of the national team right winger is a priority for the club and the management will do everything in its power to finalize this transfer,” the unofficial sources say.

Partizan’s reported offer carries extra weight because the team will compete in the Champions League, a competition Ohrid does not have access to. That sporting perspective makes a transfer to Belgrade attractive for players seeking a higher level of competition.

Partizan is currently in Skopje and is scheduled to play its second Regional League match tomorrow, 26 August 2026. Raul Gonzalez is listed as a guest alongside Kiril Lazarov and Alkaloid at the event surrounding the match.

Neither GRK Ohrid nor Partizan have issued an official statement about a completed deal. If negotiations progress, the coming days could bring confirmation or further developments that will decide whether Gjukic leaves Ohrid ahead of the new season.
