From academy prospect to club stalwart
Pellegrini, a product of Roma's youth academy, will remain one of the club's central figures. Now 30 years old, he spent two seasons away from the club during a spell at Sassuolo before returning to Rome, where he has since established himself as a defining presence for the team.
