Pelister beat Multi Esens 38–27 in a round-two match of the Macedonian Handball Superleague on September 12, 2026, securing their first victory of the season.
Multi Esens started strongly and at one stage held a four-goal lead, forcing pressure on the home side. Pelister gradually fought back and turned the game late in the first half.
Key moments
The score at half-time was 18–14 in favour of Pelister after a decisive finish to the opening 30 minutes. From the second half onward the result held little doubt as Pelister, the pre-match favourite, controlled play and extended their advantage.
Coach Lino Červar used his rotations effectively, changing personnel to shift momentum and shore up the defence, a move that paid off as Pelister pulled away after the break.
Belistojanoski finished as Pelister's top scorer with eight goals on the night; Trajkovski led Multi Esens with seven. The win gives Pelister momentum as the Superleague campaign progresses.
