Pelister beat Kumanovo 36-23 in Super League; Kuzmanovski nets seven

Pelister secured a comfortable win over Kumanovo, dominating the domestic Super League match 36-23 in the sixth round. The result came on the heels of the team's draw in the European League and counts as Pelister's fifth victory this season alongside one draw.

Match flow and decisive moments

The contest was effectively decided by half-time: Pelister led 18-11 and carried that momentum into the second half. By the 38th minute the Bitola side had already stretched the margin to double digits (22-12), and the remaining period turned into a formality as Pelister extended their lead.

Filip Kuzmanovski again stood out after his record performance in the European League, finishing with seven goals from nine attempts. Petar Atanasijevic added six goals from eight shots, giving Pelister reliable finishing options throughout the match.

On the visiting side, Naum Kostov produced a notable individual effort, scoring eight goals from 11 attempts, but his contribution was not enough to change the outcome for Kumanovo.

Coach Lino Cervar’s squad now has five wins and one draw in the Super League, while Kumanovo remain near the bottom of the table with one draw and four defeats.

The convincing domestic display will be a boost for Pelister as they balance Super League fixtures with continental commitments in the European League.
