Pep returns to the Etihad to watch Manchester City v Paris Saint-Germain on October 14

Pep Guardiola will return to the Etihad Stadium next week to watch Manchester City’s Champions League meeting with Paris Saint-Germain from the stands.

First stadium appearance since his summer departure

The match against the current European champions is scheduled for October 14, 2026, and will mark Guardiola’s first return to the ground since he left the club’s dugout this summer after ten years in charge.

Guardiola recently gave public backing to Manchester City following the decision that found the club guilty of the majority of the 115 charges of breaching financial rules. He has made clear he will stand with the club, the board, the players and the supporters.

During his decade at City, Guardiola guided the team to six Premier League titles, three FA Cups and five League Cups, leaving a record of sustained domestic success.

Club officials and supporters are expected to receive his presence at the Etihad as a show of support ahead of a high-profile Champions League fixture against PSG.
