Pero Antic bought Lamin Jamal's signed jersey at a charity auction and directed the sum to treatment for two young patients.
Former Macedonian basketball international Pero Antic purchased the signed jersey of football star Lamin Jamal for €2,500 at the charity auction held as part of the Adria Sports Conference on 4 September 2026.
Antic, regarded as one of the most prominent names in Macedonian basketball — as a former national team player and former head of Macedonian basketball — and an ambassador of KK Igokea, with the purchase directed the amount toward humanitarian needs related to the conference.
Proceeds earmarked for treatment
The funds from the auction will be used for the treatment of five-year-old Relja Bokan and two-year-old Sofija Dujlovic from Banja Luka, who are facing serious health conditions. At the same event the signed jersey of Dani Olmo was also offered; it was likewise sold for €2,500 and was purchased on behalf of KK Igokea by the club's executive director, Vuk Radivojevic.
Antic, a longtime supporter of the conference, with his move made a significant contribution to the relief fund, showing that true championship spirit goes beyond trophies won.
Adria Sports Conference organized a range of sports items for auction to raise funds for medical expenses, and participants and clubs showed their support through purchases and donations.
The organizers announced that the collected funds will be directed to cover the treatment costs of the named children.
