Shkendija Aračinovo — Skopje: Čair showdown in PMFL round 7

Today, September 14, 2026 at 16:00, the Čair Stadium will host the final match of the 7th round of the First Macedonian Football League (PMFL): Shkendija Aračinovo against Skopje. The clash pits the season’s surprise package and debutant against the only team that has not yet won and sits at the bottom of the table.

Shkendija Aračinovo arrive in high spirits and openly voice ambitious targets, including a push for European qualification. A victory in this fixture would take them to 13 points and up to third place in the standings, a clear incentive for coach Berat Imeri’s side.

Berat Imeri’s team are looking for a third consecutive league win — the fourth overall this season — and crucially their first victory at home. So far all three triumphs have been away, against Tikvesh, Bashkimi and Bregalnica.

Home crowd and momentum

There is pressure to deliver in front of local supporters at Čair: Shkendija have yet to register a home league success and will be determined to change that trend on Monday afternoon.

Skopje, the newly promoted side, have struggled to find form. They remain without a win after three draws and three defeats. Manager Muarem Muarem has reinforced the squad with several experienced players and hopes the Pirates will begin to put better performances together.

Curiosity surrounds this round: the four earlier matches all finished level — Tikvesh 2:2 Struga TL, Arsmi 2:2 Shkendija, Bashkimi 3:3 Vardar, and Sileks 2:2 Bregalnica. If the game in Čair also ends level, the entire round will have produced only draws, a rarity in the league.

The match in Čair is scheduled to kick off at 16:00 and will be officiated by referee Done Ristovski.
