PMFL: Powerful Tikvesh visit Kumanovo; evening spotlight on Bregalnica – Arsimi in Shtip
On August 8, 2026 two PMFL matches are on: Bashkimi–Tikvesh (17:00) and Bregalnica–Arsimi under lights (19:00).
Two matches from round two of the 2026/27 Macedonian First League are scheduled for August 8, 2026. In Kumanovo, Bashkimi will host Tikvesh at 17:00, while later in the evening Shtip will stage Bregalnica–Arsimi under the floodlights at 19:00.
Tikvesh arrive in Kumanovo after an emphatic home opening: the Kavadarci side produced a spectacular display in the season opener, defeating Arsimi 5:1 in front of their supporters. Given Bashkimi’s weakened squad compared with last season, the visitors under coach Oliver Bogatinov are clear favourites for the 17:00 kick-off.
Shtip prepares for an evening fixture
The return of top-tier football to Shtip is a headline in itself: local fans will be able to enjoy the first evening First League game in the city this season. Bregalnica and Arsimi meet under the lights at 19:00, offering a chance for filled stands and a lively matchday atmosphere.
Yesterday in the first match of this round, Shkendija Aracinovo and Sileks played out a 1:1 draw. Tomorrow’s schedule includes two more fixtures: Vardar vs Shkendija and Skopje vs Struga TL.
