Nikola Bogoevski, known as "Bizonot", has died at the age of 76. The former FK Pelister player was one of Bitola's most prominent athletes and a long-standing figure in the club's history.
Career and achievements
Bogoevski spent 14 years on the field wearing FK Pelister's green-and-white shirt, building a reputation for technical skill and physical readiness that endeared him to generations of supporters.
In 1969 he earned the title of youth Yugoslav champion in the multi-event and was proclaimed the best athlete of Bitola in 1969, honours that underline his sporting versatility beyond football.
His contributions on and off the pitch left an indelible mark on FK Pelister and on Bitola's sporting memory; teammates, club officials and local fans remember him as a symbol of the club's most respected era.
Funeral arrangements
The funeral will be held on Thursday, 27 August at 12:00 at the Stari svetonedelski grobishta (Old Sunday cemetery). He will be laid out from 10:00 to 12:00 in the chapel of the St. Nedela Church.
Club representatives and the local community are expected to attend the farewell. Condolences and tributes have begun to appear from former colleagues and fans.
