According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Presley died at a rehabilitation facility in the Los Angeles area. The official cause of death has not been released.

The family’s spokesman said, "The family asks for privacy and understanding in this exceptionally difficult and painful moment." In public messages and posts Presley’s mother, Cindy Crawford, had described her son as "A true fighter who walks through the fire to find his soul."
Gerber was a familiar face on international runways and in advertising. He signed with IMG Models at 15 and went on to walk for designers including Moschino and Dolce & Gabbana, and appeared in campaigns for Calvin Klein.
Despite his professional success, Presley had been open about long-standing struggles with mental health and substance dependency. He shared a candid message on Instagram about his treatment, writing, "I pray this is the last time." In March he posted an emotional video ahead of undergoing psychedelic-assisted therapy as part of efforts to address his addiction.
Presley was the older brother of model Kaia Gerber. Friends and family reportedly remained by his side during his treatment. The fashion industry and followers worldwide have expressed shock at the news.
