Two arrested in Skopje for illegal possession of firearms
Officers found firearms in two separate incidents; one arrest followed a report of threats with a gun.

Police in Skopje arrested two men in separate incidents after finding firearms, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said. In one of the cases officers intervened following a report of threats made with a gun.
According to the ministry, yesterday at 16:30 officers from the Intervention Police Unit detained E.O. (37) inside a hospitality venue on Finska Street in Skopje on suspicion of committing an offence under Article 396 of the Criminal Code.
"During a search, a pistol was found and seized from him," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
Second arrest after reported threats
In a separate operation on the territory of Centar municipality, Skopje police detained 64-year-old Z.I. after a report that he had threatened another person with a firearm. During on-scene checks officers found and seized a pistol and a magazine with bullets.
When they searched a Ford passenger car connected to the case, police discovered and confiscated an additional pistol magazine and more ammunition.
The Ministry said that once both cases are fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against the detained individuals.
