Police identify driver filmed on bicycle lane beside Butelska Street

The police have identified the driver who was filmed driving on a bicycle lane beside Butelska Street in Skopje.
Authorities say the driver is a 46-year-old man from Skopje, identified only by the initials N.K. He was summoned for an official interview after a video of the incident was shared on the social network TikTok.
Police statement
“After a video posted on the social network TikTok, showing a driver operating a Suzuki passenger vehicle with Skopje license plates along the bicycle lane next to Butelska Street in Skopje, traveling from the roundabout toward the intersection with Boulevard Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Road Traffic Safety Unit at the Skopje Police Department immediately took measures to determine the driver's identity,” the police said.
The footage, which circulated on TikTok, shows the vehicle using the bike lane that runs alongside Butelska Street in the direction from the roundabout toward the intersection with Boulevard Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The police did not disclose further details about possible sanctions; they only confirmed that the man was called in for questioning on the day the video was published.
