Prilep police detain 22-year-old; marijuana seized at his home, powder found on 19-year-old
OVR Prilep detained I.P. (22) and S.T. (19) after a court-ordered search that uncovered marijuana and a powdery substance.
Police officers from OVR Prilep detained two people on October 16, 2026 at 14:17: I.P. (22) and S.T. (19), both from Prilep.
The action began after officers obtained a search order from the Basic Court Prilep and carried out a search of I.P.'s home. During the search, police found and seized marijuana that was inside the residence.
S.T., who was present at the address, was subjected to a personal check during which officers discovered a powdery substance on her. Authorities say the material will be analysed as part of standard procedures.
Procedural steps and next moves
Both detainees were taken into custody by the Prilep police unit while investigators documented the scene and evidence. The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the arrests and the items seized.
"After documenting the incident, an appropriate submission will follow," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
